Local and European elections set for 11th June
 

The elections for the European Parliament and the Republic of Ireland's local elections will take place on June 11th 2004.

All 1400 local council seats in the Republic of Ireland will be up for grabs on 11th June for the local authority elections. This will coincide with a referendum on citizenship and the fifth election to the European Parliament.
