| As the European
Union celebrates it's enlargement in Dublin, the Confederation
will host a special information/training seminar on
EU Structure and Funding on the 1st May.
The second seminar of our new calendar will focus on
the Structures and Funding of the European Union. The
Slieve Donard in Newcastle, Co. Down will play host
to what promises to be an informative day, with presentations
on the EU structures and the regional office from Tony
Canavan of the NI Office in Brussels; Structural and
special EU funding from Nuala Kerr of SEUPB; Committee
of the Regions; -Enlargement, Integration and the EU
effect on North-South relations; the successful implementation
of Funding.
